By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Write a CV that is specific, achievement-focused, and tailored to the type of role being sought rather than a generic one-document-fits-all version
• Understand what Pakistani and international hiring managers and HR professionals actually look for in the first thirty seconds of reading a CV
• Answer the most common, most important, and most feared interview questions clearly and confidently without memorizing a script
• Handle the questions designed to reveal weaknesses, What is your biggest failure? Where do you see yourself in five years? without becoming defensive or evasive
• Present themselves in the first two minutes of an interview in a way that creates a strong, lasting first impression
• Ask intelligent, well-timed questions at the end of an interview that reinforce rather than undermine their candidacy

Methodology

Program Structure and Methodology

Format: One-day in-person workshop
Pre-workshop preparation: Participants bring their existing CV (or a draft) to the workshop for live review and improvement
Group Size: Optimal cohort of 12 to 20 participants
Methodology: CV audit and rewriting exercises, mock interview sessions with feedback, and difficult-question drilling with coached responses
Delivery Options: Public workshop with scheduled dates, or in-house program for a graduating cohort, an outplacement group, or an internal promotion pipeline

Every participant’s CV is reviewed during the workshop, either by the facilitator or by a structured peer review process. The mock interview sessions are conducted under realistic conditions, with participants receiving specific, honest feedback on both their verbal responses and their non-verbal presence, since both influence the hiring decision.

Career coaching and CV services often focus on making a CV look better without making the person’s story clearer.
