3	Your confirmed track record	Three to five specific engagements or projects you have delivered, naming the sector and the outcome. No client names are required where confidentiality applies.
4	Your professional credentials	Any certifications, academic qualifications, or published work that directly support your area of expertise.
5	Your CV or professional profile	Attached as a PDF. No more than three pages. Clear, professional, and focused on delivery experience rather than qualifications alone.

IKTAR reviews every profile received. If there is a potential fit now or in the foreseeable future, Shafqat Jilani or a senior team member will respond directly. If there is no current fit, IKTAR will confirm receipt and retain your profile for future consideration. IKTAR does not send automated rejections. If you do not receive a response within two weeks, it is safe to assume that there is no immediate fit.

Questions About Working With IKTAR

Does IKTAR offer full-time employment or only associate engagements?

IKTAR engages professionals in both capacities depending on the role and the individual. Core team members including Shafqat Jilani, M. Aurangzeb, Iffat Batool, and others work with IKTAR on an ongoing, full-commitment basis. Subject matter specialists, senior consultants, and specialist trainers are typically engaged on a project or retainer basis that reflects their existing professional practice. The engagement structure for any new team member is discussed openly and agreed before any commitment is made on either side.

Does IKTAR work with professionals based outside Lahore?

IKTAR delivers training and consulting nationwide and works with professionals based in Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and other major cities. Remote collaboration is also possible for research, program design, and certain consulting disciplines. The practical requirements of each engagement determine the working arrangement. If you are based outside Lahore, mention this clearly in your profile and indicate which types of engagement you are available for.

I am an experienced professional but have been working in-house rather than as an independent consultant. Is IKTAR still relevant for me?

Possibly. IKTAR values deep organizational experience as much as independent consulting experience, provided that experience translates into the ability to advise other organizations rather than only the one you have worked in. Commercial terms are discussed directly and transparently with each professional based on the engagement scope, the market rate for the discipline, and the value the engagement generates. IKTAR does not publish standard rates because every engagement is different. What IKTAR does guarantee is that the conversation will be direct, the terms will be fair, and there will be no ambiguity about what is expected from either side before any engagement begins.
