Communicating Ideas with Confidence, Clarity, and Impact

Presentation Skills Training

A One-Day Workshop That Transforms How You Present, Not Just How Your Slides Look. Presentation Skills Training Pakistan
“A great idea poorly presented loses to a mediocre idea confidently delivered. Every time.”

Many professionals avoid presenting whenever possible.

Presentation anxiety is one of the most widespread professional challenges, and one of the least addressed.

Many professionals avoid presenting whenever possible, produce presentations that are structurally unclear, read directly from their slides, or speak at a pace and volume that loses the room within three minutes. The cost is real: good ideas that do not get funded, capable professionals who are not taken as seriously as their actual ability warrants, and meeting rooms full of people pretending to follow a presentation they stopped tracking ten minutes ago.
Presentation Skills Training is IKTAR’s practical, hands-on workshop for building the full range of skills that determine whether a presentation succeeds: structuring an argument so it is easy to follow, managing nerves so they fuel rather than undermine performance, using slides as a support rather than a crutch, controlling pace and voice so the audience stays engaged, and handling questions from a hostile or skeptical audience without losing composure.
This program is built around doing rather than watching. Every participant presents during the day, receives specific feedback, and presents again, so they leave having practiced in a structured, safe environment rather than simply having watched someone else explain how presentations work.

Who This Program Is For

Presentation Skills Training is designed for:

• Professionals who present internally or externally and know their presentations could be significantly stronger
• Managers who present project updates, business cases, or proposals to senior leadership and want those presentations to land more effectively
• Sales and business development professionals for whom every client meeting is effectively a presentation
• Trainers, educators, and subject matter experts who have deep knowledge but have not developed the delivery skills to match
• Professionals who experience significant anxiety when presenting and want practical, proven techniques for managing it

If your professionals have good ideas but those ideas consistently fail to land with the impact they deserve, this program builds the skill gap between what they know and what the audience actually receives.

What Participants Learn

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Structure any presentation using a clear, logical framework that an audience can follow without effort
• Open a presentation in a way that captures attention immediately rather than losing the room in the first two minutes
• Use slides as a visual support for spoken content rather than a script to be read aloud
• Manage presentation nerves using specific, practical techniques that work in real time before and during the presentation
• Control pace, volume, and pause to keep an audience engaged through the full length of the presentation
• Handle difficult, skeptical, or aggressive questions without becoming defensive or losing the thread of the presentation

Methodology

Program Structure and Methodology

Format: One-day in-person workshop
Group Size: Optimal cohort of 10 to 16 participants, kept smaller to allow every participant to present at least twice during the day
Methodology: Live presentations by all participants, video recording and playback review where available, structured peer and facilitator feedback, and targeted re-presentation after coaching
Delivery Options: Public workshop with scheduled dates, or in-house program for a team or department

Every participant presents at least once, and ideally twice, during the workshop. The first presentation is diagnostic. The feedback session identifies the two or three specific improvements that will make the biggest difference for that individual. The second presentation incorporates those improvements so participants experience the difference directly rather than just hearing about it.

Why IKTAR

Presentation skills training that does not involve actual presenting is almost worthless. IKTAR’s program is built entirely around practice, feedback, and more practice, with theory kept to the minimum needed to understand why a specific change will improve the outcome. The ratio of doing to listening is deliberately high.
This program is led by Shafqat Jilani, a Certified Master Trainer (Futures Group, Washington DC) with over 25 years of experience as a professional presenter and facilitator across corporate boardrooms, large public workshops, and development sector conferences in Pakistan and internationally. Shafqat brings the perspective of someone who has personally mastered the skill being taught, not someone who has studied it theoretically.
Following the workshop, IKTAR provides a free training review report noting each participant’s starting point, the specific improvements observed during the day, and the top two areas to continue developing.
