Expanding What You Believe is Possible for Yourself

Think Big

A One-Day Workshop on Moving Past the Limits You Have Set Without Realizing It
“The ceiling on your ambition is almost never your actual capability. It is your estimate of your actual capability.”

Most professionals operate well within the boundaries of what they believe is realistic for them.

These boundaries are rarely set by actual incapacity.

They are set by habit, by accumulated experience of discouragement, by a cultural environment that has more words for risk than for ambition, and by comparisons with others that quietly establish what is considered normal to want. Over time these boundaries feel less like choices and more like facts, and the professional stops questioning them.
Think Big Training Workshop Pakistan is IKTAR’s program for exactly this: not the motivational assertion that you can achieve anything, which is both unhelpful and untrue, but the structured, honest examination of where your current ambition ceiling actually sits, how it got there, and whether it genuinely reflects your actual capacity and circumstances or whether it reflects an outdated estimate formed under different conditions. Participants leave not with a bigger dream but with a clearer, more accurate picture of what is genuinely within their reach that they are currently not reaching for.
This program occupies a specific and important position in the Personal Development suite: it is the mindset foundation that makes everything else in the suite possible. Time management tools work better when you believe your time is worth managing well. Personal branding matters more when you believe your brand is worth building. Emotional intelligence develops faster when you believe you are capable of being the kind of professional you admire.

Who This Program Is For

Think Big is designed for:

• Professionals who are genuinely capable but consistently aim lower than their ability justifies, holding back from opportunities, roles, or ideas they are qualified for
• Employees identified as high potential by their organization but who do not yet see themselves that way
• Entrepreneurs and business owners who started with ambition and have watched it contract as obstacles accumulated
• Professionals returning to work after a break who have lost confidence in what they are capable of and need to recalibrate their self-assessment
• Organizations that want to build a culture of constructive ambition rather than one where staying safe and staying small is the unspoken norm

This program is not for people who need encouragement to dream. It is for people who have stopped dreaming at the right scale and want to understand specifically why, and what they can do about it.

What Participants Learn

By the end of the workshop, participants will have:

• Identified their specific ambition ceiling and the key experiences or beliefs that set it in its current position
• Examined whether the limits they operate within reflect genuine constraints or outdated assumptions about what is possible for them
• Applied practical reframing techniques that shift their internal reference point from what they have typically attempted to what they are actually capable of
• Defined one specific, concrete professional goal that is meaningfully larger than what they would normally have set for themselves
• Built an initial action plan for pursuing that goal in a way that feels achievable rather than aspirational in the vague, uncommitted sense
• Understood the specific environmental and cultural factors in the Pakistani professional context that tend to suppress ambition, and how to work within them rather than against them

Methodology

Program Structure and Methodology

Format: One-day in-person workshop
Group Size: Optimal cohort of 12 to 20 participants
Methodology: Personal ambition audit, belief-mapping exercises, reframing techniques, goal-setting at a new scale, and peer accountability pairing
Delivery Options: Public workshop with scheduled dates, or in-house program for a management cohort, high-potential employee group, or entrepreneurship program

The workshop is deliberately more reflective and personally demanding than most professional development programs. Participants spend more time examining their own thinking than listening to instruction. Facilitator and peer challenge are built into the design since honest external input is often the only thing that disrupts a self-limiting belief that has gone unexamined for years.

Why IKTAR

Think Big training fails when it becomes a motivational event rather than a developmental one. The test is not whether participants feel inspired when they leave the room. It is whether they attempt something meaningfully larger than what they would have attempted without the workshop. IKTAR’s version is built around the second test, not the first.
This program is led by Shafqat Jilani, a Certified Master Trainer (Futures Group, Washington DC) who has spent 25 years watching Pakistani professionals and organizations consistently underestimate their own capacity, and working to address that gap through training, consulting, and six published books that speak directly to ambition, mindset, and professional growth.
Following the workshop, IKTAR provides a free training review report capturing each participant’s identified ambition ceiling, the goal they committed to, and specific recommended next steps for keeping that commitment alive after the workshop ends.
