Building Pakistan’s Next Generation of Leaders, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs

Youth Development Program

Four Programs for Every Stage: From School Students to Young Professionals
“The best time to invest in a leader is before they become one. The second best time is now.”

Pakistan has an extraordinarily young population.

More than sixty percent of the country is under thirty.

This is simultaneously the country’s greatest asset and its most significant development challenge: millions of young people with talent, energy, and ambition who have not yet been given the skills, the mindset, or the professional foundation to translate those qualities into productive, successful careers and lives.
IKTAR’s Youth Development Program addresses this gap directly across four distinct programs, each designed for a specific age group and development stage. Whether the participant is a ten-year-old discovering what leadership means, a college student building a professional identity, or a young entrepreneur learning to use social media as a business tool, there is a specific IKTAR program built for exactly where they are right now.
These programs are delivered in partnership with schools, colleges, universities, and youth organizations across Pakistan. Corporate CSR teams and NGOs funding youth development as a social investment are also welcome to partner with IKTAR to deliver any of these programs for their target communities.

The Four Youth Development Programs

IKTAR’s youth programs span two broad categories: school-based character and leadership development delivered in age-appropriate segments, and professional and entrepreneurial skill programs for college students and young professionals.

School-Based Programs: Two Age Segments

IKTAR’s school programs are delivered in partner schools and colleges across Pakistan. Both segments cover the same eleven core development topics but with content, language, and activities calibrated to the age and maturity of each group. Both are available for in-house delivery at your institution.

Why IKTAR

Youth development programs fail when they are either too corporate for a young audience or too superficial to produce any real change. IKTAR’s programs sit deliberately between those two failure modes: structured enough to produce genuine skill development and character growth, and engaging enough to hold the attention of an audience ranging from a ten-year-old in a school assembly to a twenty-five-year-old building their first business.
Shafqat Jilani’s six published books, including Think Big, Morning Routines for Success, and 365 Daily Affirmations for a Winning Mindset, speak directly to the mindset, ambition, and character themes covered in the youth programs. Participants who want to continue the work after the workshop have a body of published material written by the same person who delivered their training.
This program is led by Shafqat Jilani, a Certified Master Trainer (Futures Group, Washington DC) with an MSc in Applied Psychology and over 25 years of experience working with young Pakistanis in educational, corporate, and community development contexts across Pakistan.
